One of the things I love most about being a fetish and kink seller is that there really isn't a typical day.
Every seller does things differently, and that's part of the beauty of it. You can put in as much or as little time as you want, work around your other commitments, and build your profile in a way that suits you. Since I started, I've found that the more time and effort I put into my profile and the experience I offer, the more I get back from it.
So, what does a typical day look like for me?
Starting the Day
My day usually starts with a quick check of my profile before I get properly started. I'll look through my notifications, check for any messages that have come in overnight, reply to customers and get any orders organised. It's become part of my morning routine. I'll also check who's been viewing my profile. If someone has taken the time to check me out, I'll often send them a short message. You never know where that conversation might lead. This is one area where upgrading your profile to Diamond has been useful for me. Having access to more profile insights means I can see who's been looking and gives me the opportunity to interact with people who might otherwise have just disappeared into the background.
These are the sorts of tools I've personally found useful, and for me, they've made the upgrade worthwhile.
Fitting It Around My Day Job
Like a lot of sellers, this isn't my only job. I also have a full-time day job, so I have to fit selling around my normal working day.
Luckily, I work from home, which makes things a little easier. I'm able to pop online throughout the day, check messages, keep an eye on my profile and make sure I'm not disappearing from the platform for hours at a time.
I'll also keep an eye on my listings and make regular posts. I've found that staying active really helps keep my profile fresh and puts me back in front of potential customers. It doesn't have to mean spending hours online. Sometimes it's just a few minutes here and there, but those little bits of activity add up.
Keeping Things Fresh
One thing I've learned since starting is that you can't just put a profile together and forget about it.
People want to see what you're up to, and I like giving them something new to come back for. Throughout the day, I'll take opportunities to upload new photos and updates. That could be before or after work, during a gym session, or out in my biker leathers, which is one of my selling points.
The gym and my motorbike are a big part of my personality, so I naturally include those in my content. I've built a bit of a reputation online as a biker boy, and my leather and gym photos always seem to get plenty of attention.
For me, that's what makes it enjoyable. I'm not trying to pretend to be someone I'm not, I'm just sharing the things that are already part of my life and letting customers get to know the person behind the profile.
Prepping Orders
Of course, there's actually preparing the orders!
During the day, I'll work on whatever orders I've got coming in. Sometimes that means preparing items to wear throughout the day, while other times I'll use my lunch break to work on video content for a custom order someone has requested.
Then, once my normal working day is finished, I'll spend some time getting physical orders packaged up and ready to send.
I actually quite enjoy this part. There's something satisfying about seeing an order go from an idea or a conversation with a customer to something that's packaged up and ready to head off to its new owner.
Finishing the Day
By the time the evening comes around, I'll usually do one final check of my account. I'll go through any new messages, check my orders, respond to anyone I've been chatting with and see if there's anything else I can do to bring new customers to my profile. Sometimes I'll spend a little longer online if I've got lots going on. Other nights, I'll keep it fairly quick and then switch off and get some sleep..
There's No "Normal" Day
If there's one thing I've learned from becoming a seller, it's that there really isn't one correct way to do it.
Some days I'm incredibly busy, juggling messages, orders, content and everything else going on in my life. Other days are much quieter and I might only spend a little bit of time checking in.
And that's the beauty of it.
You can make selling work around your life rather than having to completely rearrange your life around selling. If you've got plenty of free time, you can put more into your profile, content and customers. If life gets busy, you can step back for a while and pick things back up when you've got more time.
For me, the biggest difference has been realising that the more I put into it, the more I get out of it.
Keeping my profile active, talking to people, regularly adding new content and putting effort into my orders has helped me build something that feels personal rather than just like another job.
And honestly, that's probably my favourite part of being a seller. It's something I've built around me, my interests and my lifestyle and every day is a little bit different.
