Hello ATW! I couldn't wait to get back on here to find my own sense of self again! I wish I could say things are calmer at home. That my mom fully recovered. That I've returned to my normal busy routine of caregiving. But honestly things are crazy busy. What I had thought was 24/7 before now feels more like 48 hours in a day, etc. Plus add visiting nurses, PT folks and what appeared to be an almost immediate full onset of dementia in my mother and you get an idea of my life lately. She unfortunately did not come home the same person she was when she went to the hospital and after her nursing facility stay. This has added a tough emotional side to things on top of the physical accommodations to my new "world" I'm still trying to get used to. Then I've had to subtract about 10 hours a week or so from my already pretty dismal sleep schedule. Oh! And covid went through the house about 2 months ago making everyone feel awful. So to say I've felt stress, worry, fear, the beginnings of a terrible loss to come and just a complete disconnect from myself is an understatement. But October is my birthday month. I'll turn 49. I've always considered my birthday to be my "new year " I usually start new things and make resolutions in October. So this October also happens to be my 3rd year wearing panties and then branching out into videos. It's been a pretty amazing 3 years. I've learned so much about myself and met some really wonderful people. That is definitely something to be happy about in my current life's ups and downs.
