Whether it’s the bringing in buyers, conversation, listings, pricing, getting the equipment/ tools, the labor, editing or sending out and putting yourself out there- it all takes time and effort. And can feel incredibly discouraging some days. This place can be a roller coaster of highs and lows. Sometimes the site is dry and orders aren’t coming in, or you’ve come across a jerk buyer or seller that you let get to you or you’re just not feeling sexy when it feels like some people move here so confidently and flawlessly. Don’t be disillusioned, everyone has their days! But I can struggle with all of it- my body isn’t perfect; there is cushion and creases where I don’t like to see, my skin has bumps, scars and stretch marks, my hair will frizz and be unruly. I’m not always in the mood to be cute or dominating in chat. It’s easy to get down on yourself when you’re looking at everyone else’s green grass- but I don’t want that to stop you, any of you from seeing your value. There is a market for just about everything here and I can guarantee you there’s someone that’s been dying to know you or already adores the unique individual you are. So buyers if you see sellers begging for tips- it’s because we put our ALL into this, it’s not a necessity but a hell of a nice way to pay someone on the back. Even just a coffee can make our day. Not all of us get spoiled with gifts and adoration or have high paying jobs and nice houses. So with as slow it’s been lately please don’t get discouraged and be kind to one another. Respect boundaries and the process. Communicate clearly and don’t lead anyone on. Shout, give badges, interact- leave reviews! Most of all be fucking nice. You never know what someone is enduring.
