Just finished working out

Kastor here again with another beer review. And once again it's a pumpkin based beer from Elysian. Night Owl is a pumpkin ale, and I'm sad to say not a favorite. The pumpkin punch is pretty mild, more of an aftertaste only rather than a key element. And the beer is just a little normal. I feel like it's missing some zazz, or a punch of some kind. So this would be the first I would suggest avoiding unless you really want a pumpkin beer and it's all you can find.

Kastor here, from the shower this time. I have to say, nothing beats a shower beer after working out in the yard. And to give it some Halloween flair (to go with the spicy picture), its a pumpkin stout by Elysian. Dark ‘o the moon is an easy drinking and heavy beer. It has rich flavor right from the get go. Unlike some beers, its not a complex flavor profile instead hitting you full force right from the get go. Chocolate and spice is the first flavor with the pumpkin coming in a little behind. It doesn’t taste like its modeled after pumpkin pie, rather being its own pumpkin adjacent flavor. There’s a little carbonation, but not so much that its really fizzy, just a slight sting when you first take a sip. I like it, and as a stout it almost automatically gets my recommendation. I have to say though, I think Elysian did a better job with their pumpkin ale. That’s for a later update, so keep your eyes peeled.

Kastor here again with another beer review. Martin House Brewing Company: Hyper Fast Jellyfish Another sour, this one is pineapple with lactose and aged in whiskey barrels. I expected to enjoy this and it did not disappoint. It is very pineapple forward with a nice bite that eases into a hint of bitterness as a finish. Its a smooth drinker and I find myself having to keep from simply chugging it. Personally, I think that this would go well with bbq or a steak. I feel like the slight sweetness and following bitterness would go well with the rich and heavy flavors from the meal. If you can find this, I heartily recommend it if sours are something you’ve been thinking of trying.

Damn camera fell down trying to get my pics taken.
